I can hardly believe school is back in session. It was a summer full of unexpected occurrences. Thankfully, there were moments of joy mixed in.
One of the most memorable interactions was at the zoo. During our visit, we caught the flight show. During this event, two zookeepers talk to the crowd about conservation and the programs the zoo participates in to help birds of prey. The birds are then brought onto the stage and take different flight patterns over the crowd. It is an awesome experience to have a bird of prey fly just over your head and even better when you get the perfect picture of it!
In the weeks to come, I hope to be writing more on this blog. Events this summer took me by surprise and I was not able to accomplish much of what I had hoped. BUT, with the routine of school settling in, I am hopeful life will also settle and I will be able to return to writing. Please bear with me. 🙂
