Have you used mind maps or concept maps with your students? I use both! To start a unit of study, I often have students make a mind map of what they think of when I say . . . Or what they already know about a topic. At the end of the unit, we create concept maps. When we are in the classroom, I often have groups create concept maps and pass them along for other groups to add information to them. It’s a great review exercise!
